A Travertine-Look Palladino Kitchen Hood

Palladino plaster with Z-4 additive brings a stone-inspired texture to the hood above the range. The finish carries across its faces and corners as one continuous surface, with no tile joints or grout lines. Its textured movement contrasts with the surrounding white cabinetry.

What is Firenze sand finish plaster?

Firenze is a hand-troweled decorative plaster with a sandy texture and soft tonal movement. This project uses Swiss Coffee in the dining room and Overcast in the master bedroom; it is plaster, not brushed limewash.

What is a travertine-look plaster hood, and can it be used over a range?

It is a continuous plaster finish textured to suggest natural travertine without separate stone tiles or grout lines. This hood uses Palladino with Z-4 additive. Suitability depends on the hood substrate, appliance clearances and specified finish system; we review those details before recommending it.

Can these finishes be tinted to colors such as Swiss Coffee or Overcast?
