The Project
A Custom Home Where Every Detail Matters
For this new construction residence in Haworth, All Time Paint & Plaster completed an extensive interior painting project requiring detailed surface preparation, careful protection and precision finishing throughout the home.
The painted walls and ceilings were finished to sit quietly beside the residence's stone, windows, millwork and other architectural materials. The walnut elements were sanded and topcoated with polyurethane to restore and protect their natural character.

From Construction to Completion
The same rooms were documented while the home was active construction and after completion, showing the preparation and protection behind the finished surfaces.

The Finish Starts Long Before the Paint
Walls and ceilings were inspected and prepared while finished architectural elements were masked and protected. Corrections, filling, sanding, caulking, priming and repeated inspection established the surface for the finish coats.
Preparation is the foundation of a fine finish.

Protection & Preparation
Protecting What Shouldn't Be Painted
As construction progressed, surrounding surfaces were masked and protected before preparation and painting continued.
This was especially important around the home's walnut woodwork, windows, flooring, stone and architectural details. Protection is not an extra step; it is part of the finishing process.
Natural Woodwork
Sanded Walnut, Protected With Polyurethane
The home's walnut ceilings, wall paneling, beams, window casings, trim and stair details were sanded and topcoated with polyurethane. Precise transitions keep the painted surfaces understated beside the renewed walnut.

Consistency Throughout the Home
Long sightlines and strong natural light make consistency especially important. These transition spaces received the same preparation as the home's primary rooms.

Why New Construction Painting Is Different
Custom-home painting requires coordination while different areas reach completion at different times. Careful protection, repeated surface inspection and detailed final touch-ups are as important as the final application.
